Sony Ctenzin is a pioneering Bhutanese designer and textile innovator with over 17 years dedicated to sustainable craftsmanship and cultural preservation. Through her label Sonyctenzin, she works with women weavers across Bhutan, transforming natural fibres and traditional techniques into timeless, contemporary pieces. In 2025, Sony makes her first Australian debut on the FOMA runway at the opening of SXSW Sydney, bringing Bhutan’s rich weaving heritage to a global audience.
