Sony C Tenzin
Sony Ctenzin is a visionary Bhutanese designer and fabric innovator with over 17 years dedicated to sustainable craftsmanship and cultural preservation. Through her label Sony C Tenzin and the Fashion Institute of Technology Bhutan, she supports women weavers and uplifts highland communities by transforming traditional fibres and weaving techniques into timeless, contemporary art. In 2025, she makes her first Australian debut on the FOMA runway at the opening of SXSW Sydney, bringing Bhutan’s rich textile heritage to a global audience.
